Boop helps you handle small email chores. You describe a job; Boop reads the inbox you connect, prepares draft replies, and asks your permission before anything is sent.

The short version

  • Boop only accesses the Google data you explicitly connect, using the minimum scopes needed.
  • Nothing is sent without your explicit approval. Boop prepares drafts; you approve each action.
  • We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train generalized AI models. No human reads your email unless you specifically ask.
  • You can disconnect Google access and delete your data at any time.

What Google data we access, and why

  • gmail.readonly — to read the messages in the inbox you connect so Boop can triage them.
  • gmail.compose — to create draft replies. Boop creates drafts only; it does not send on its own.

We request the minimum data needed for these features and do not request access for unimplemented “future” features.

Limited Use

Boop’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google data only to provide the features described here; we do not transfer it except to provide those features with your consent, for security, or to comply with law; we do not use it for advertising or to train generalized AI models; and we do not allow humans to read it without your affirmative agreement.

What we store

  • Connector credentials are stored encrypted at rest and used only to perform the actions you request.
  • Boop stores the drafts it prepares, an abstract activity record, and any memories you explicitly confirm.
  • Boop does not retain a copy of your full mailbox. Each user’s data lives in a sealed, per-user space.

Your controls

  • Approve everything. Nothing is sent from your account without your explicit approval.
  • Disconnect Google access anytime; you can also revoke at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Delete your data on request.
